Dean of Carl R. Ice College of Engineering candidate finalists announced

The search committee announces four finalists who will interview for the dean of the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering position and invite you to attend the open forums presented by each candidate.
- Matthew O'Keefe, professor and executive director of the Haley Barbour Center for Manufacturing Excellence at the University of Mississippi, will interview Feb. 17-18. The open forum will be from 3:30-5 p.m. on Feb. 17 in Town Hall of Leadership Studies Building. A reception will follow from 5-6 p.m. in 126 Leadership Studies Building.
- David Rosowsky, professor of engineering at the University of Vermont, will interview Feb. 19-20. The open forum will be from 3:30-5 p.m. on Feb. 19 in Town Hall of Leadership Studies Building. A reception will follow from 5-6 p.m. in 126 Leadership Studies Building.
- Bradley Kramer, professor and head of the industrial and manufacturing systems engineering department at Kansas State University, will interview Feb. 24-25. The open forum will be from 3:30-5 p.m. on Feb. 24 in Town Hall of Leadership Studies Building. A reception will follow from 5-6 p.m. in 126 Leadership Studies Building.
- Suzanna Long, professor and chair of the engineering management and systems engineering department at Missouri University of Science and Technology, will interview Feb. 26-27. The open forum will be from 3:30-5 p.m. on Feb. 26 in Town Hall of Leadership Studies Building. A reception will follow from 5-6 p.m. in 126 Leadership Studies Building.
K-Staters are encouraged to review the application materials and attend each open forum and Q&A session titled, "My Vision to Advance the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering in Education, Research, Service, and Engagement: Strategies for Success in a Changing World."
Application materials and itinerary for each candidate are available on the Office of the Provost search website. Please be prepared to enter your K-State eID and password to access the information. For those unable to attend in person, the open forums will be streamed live and archived on the provost’s search website. An online candidate feedback survey is available on that website. Each feedback survey will close at 5 p.m. two days following each candidate's on-campus interview and the presentation will be removed from the website at that time.
Oral or written feedback on the candidates may also be directed to members of the search committee. Please provide feedback no later than Monday, March 2.
