Sociologist presents research at Columbia University summer institute
Nadia Shapkina, assistant professor of sociology, presented her research at a National Endowment for the Humanities summer institute, "America Engages Eurasia," at Columbia University in New York, June 12-July 2. Shapkina presented her research about transnational feminist dialogues between western (U.S.) and eastern (European) feminist movements. A National Endowment for the Humanities grant made Shapkina's participation in the summer institute possible.
