K-State Music Program to host virtual awards ceremony via Facebook Live April 3
Social distancing won't keep the K-State Music Program from honoring its students' achievements this year. Please join us at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 3, as music faculty make virtual presentations to this year's honorees.
The presentations will be made via Facebook Live on the K-State Music Facebook page, and through the events page.
Awards include Collegiate Honor and Scholastic Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia awards, Collegiate Honor and Scholastic Sigma Alpha Iota Awards, the Lloyd W. Muir Memorial Music Scholarship Award, Tau Beta Sigma and Kappa Kappa Psi Awards, the Stan Finck Memorial Leadership Awards, the Dick Mason Award.
Certificates of Honor also are awarded to Outstanding Freshman Music Major and Outstanding Sophomore Music Major, the Pi Kappa Lambda Award to the Outstanding Graduating Senior Music Major and the Presser Undergraduate Scholar Award.
The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance is part of the College of Arts and Sciences. The school annually gives more than $500,000 in undergraduate scholarships and graduate scholarships and assistantships. To learn more about the School of Music Theatre, and Dance at K-State, visit k-state.edu/mtd.
