Two business administration faculty members joining prestigious editorial boards
Richard McFarland II, professor of marketing, has accepted an 18-month appointment to be a member of the editorial review board of the Journal of Marketing. The Journal of Marketing is a bimonthly publication published by the American Marketing Association since 1935. McFarland is The L.L. McAninch Chair of Business Administration.
Diane Swanson, professor of management and the von Waaden business administration professor, has been reappointed to the Business Ethics Quarterly editorial board. Business Ethics Quarterly has been published by the Society for Business Ethics since 1991. This will be Swanson’s second two-year term on this editorial board. She is the chair of the college’s Ethics Education Initiative.
“Prestigious journals are seeking our faculty to join their editorial boards. These appointments give the College of Business Administration great visibility, and help us in achieving K-State’s goal of being a top 50 research institution,” said Ali R. Malekzadeh, dean of the College of Business Administration.
