Clinical study: Receive treatment for suicidal thoughts

Submitted by Joyce Baptist

Joyce Baptist, professor of couple and family therapy in the School of Family Studies and Human Services, is researching different treatments for those who struggle with suicidal thoughts. Persons struggling with suicidal thoughts are invited to receive treatment as part of this clinical study that will be conducted remotely via Zoom, a secure online platform.

Individuals will receive two sessions of assessments, 10 sessions of therapy and participate in five follow-up meetings.

If you or someone you know is in need of mental health treatment for suicidal thoughts, please contact Natalia Kuzmina at ngkuzmina@k-state.edu. This volunteer opportunity is for adults ages 18 and older only.

This study has been reviewed by K-State's Institutional Review Board and received approval No. 8558.
