Internal search for assistant dean of academic programs
The College of Agriculture seeks nominations and applications for the assistant dean for academic programs. This position is responsible for continuing student services and retention. The assistant dean reports to the associate dean for agriculture academic programs. This interim appointment has an expected term of up to two years.
The assistant dean provides leadership and administrative oversight to the College of Agriculture student records office and functions, manages college roles and responsibilities related to academic student services, and represents the college on related university committees. They facilitate the college Course and Curriculum Committee and coordinate the curriculum proposal and approval process, evaluate transcripts and individual curriculum variance requests, and provide leadership and direction to the college assessment program. They may also advise student organizations, advise students majoring in general agriculture, and assist with other College of Agriculture Academic Programs activities.
