A summary of university changes related to COVID-19

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the university has had to make several changes to operations. Here's a summary of the changes announced June 1-5.
The university is preparing for next academic year.
The Executive Leadership Group is identifying and prioritizing key issues and communication strategies across themed areas to transition back to on-campus activities. Cabinet-level leaders have been assigned to at least one of eight areas. In addition, a Guidance, Protocol and Standards Team, will facilitate the Executive Leadership Group.
K-State will proceed with Phase 2 until June 8.
Since the university has a presence in all 105 Kansas counties, K-State offices and activities will remain in Phase 2 until June 8 in accordance with Gov. Kelly's reopening guidance.
Kansas State University announced a third round of emergency furloughs.
Fifteen employees will be furloughed in June and July from Enrollment Management, International Student and Scholar Services, and Education Abroad.
