Retreat planning support for student organizations

Did you know that retreats are one of the most useful and valuable activities in which student organizations can participate?
A retreat is a planned time for your organization to step away from your normal routine for the purpose of reflection, learning, planning, team building and/or evaluation. They provide the opportunity to rejuvenate members' motivation and enthusiasm for the organization, and to accomplish organizational goals and work.
The Center for Student Involvement will host a series of workshops, roundtables and resources to support student organizations' retreat planning.
Leadership Workshops — June 16-18
Virtual workshops of 45 minutes providing skill development, activities, and resources you can implement in your organization. Recordings of these sessions will be made available on the CSI website.
- Officer and Leadership Transitions, 12:15-1 p.m. Tuesday, June 16.
- Team Building and Membership Involvement, 12:15-1 p.m. Wednesday, June 17.
- Goal Setting, Planning, and Organization, 12:15-1 p.m. Thursday, June 18.
Officer Roundtables — June 24-25
Do you hold a leadership position in your organization? Join a roundtable session where you can meet with peers who hold similar positions in other organizations. Build your network across campus while sharing your tips, tricks and strategies for success. Presidents, captains, vice presidents, secretaries, treasurers, recruitment and outreach chairs, advisors and coaches are encouraged to attend either or both sessions.
- Roundtable Session 1, 12:15-1 p.m. Wednesday, June 24.
