Funds available to support K-State faculty publishing fees
The Center for the Advancement of Digital Scholarship at K-State Libraries is accepting applications for the K-State Open Access Publishing Fund. Faculty can receive up to $3,000 to assist with article processing charges from peer-reviewed open access journals.
The fund supports making K-State research and scholarship immediately, freely and globally available through open access. Open access ensures that anyone can access and use research online. The fund is just one of K-State Libraries' initiatives to support open access publishing models.
Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and awards are limited to one per author per fiscal year. The fund is jointly supported by K-State Libraries and Strategic Investment Funds awarded by K-State leadership.
K-State faculty members and researchers wishing to apply should visit the KOAPF website for application criteria and eligibility information.
