International Buddies application open
The International Buddies Program pairs local K-State students, staff and community members with international students, scholars and family members every fall and spring semesters.
Once paired, buddies meet regularly to learn about each other's cultures, customs and explore Manhattan and K-State. You can gain valuable volunteer experience by casually meeting with your buddies a few times a month. Each group will consist of approximately four buddies.
If you are interested in becoming involved with International Buddies for the fall 2020 semester, please click the link below or scan the QR code on the poster to fill out the application. The survey should take no more than five to seven minutes, and the information you provide will help match you with peer buddies who share similar interests.
This semester will look very different for International Buddies, but we are committed to connecting students from all over the world, and we have many fun activities planned!
The application deadline is Aug. 31.
Once the groups are matched, the members can decide to meet all online, both online or in-person, or primarily in-person.
