Raymond Hall, Cargill, will deliver the College of Business Administration’s Diversity Lecture Series
The global director for inclusion and diversity of Cargill will be the College of Business Administration’s 14th annual Diversity Lecture Series speaker.
Raymond Hall will present “Innovation and Diversity: Achieving business success through inclusion” from 10:30 to 11:20 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, in Forum Hall at the K-State Student Union.
Cargill, an international producer and marketer of food, has Employee Resource Groups to foster respect among co-workers and give employees the opportunity to develop professional skills, take on leadership roles and give back to the community. Current groups active in the U.S. are the Ebony Council, the Disability Awareness Council and Pride Networking, which welcomes all employees who honor diversity and respect.
Hall was named global director, inclusion and diversity, in May 2012. He has been with the company since 2008, where he has held several positions within the Cargill Agricultural Supply Chain, Cargill Energy, Transportation and Metals, and Cargill Animal Protein and Salt platforms.
Hall has lived in Italy, Korea and Switzerland during his professional career, and his experiences include working closely with various Cargill business units on developing sustainable business and talent management strategies.
Before joining Cargill, Hall was a regional human resources manager with International Paper Company in Memphis, Tenn. He has served with the U.S. Army Special Operations Command.
