K-State Custodial Worker Appreciation Week
Beginning this fall, K-State will have the opportunity to officially celebrate some of its most vital employees for the first time. Especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, these individuals have bravely and faithfully worked on campus as essential personnel so that students, professors and staff could return to campus this fall. The Division of Facilities is encouraging everyone to join us in K-State's first Custodial Worker Appreciation Week beginning Friday, Oct. 2.
Next week, Oct. 5-9, will include a full five days of recognizing and showing our appreciation for the quiet heroes in our battle against COVID. During the stay-at-home order, our K-State custodians were diligently working behind the scenes to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students, faculty and staff.
They contribute significantly to critical first impressions, public health and the success of our K-State family. Please join us this week and say "thank you" for their dedication and hard work. Their efforts truly make Kansas State University shine. Thank you, K-State custodians!
