Past president of the Association of American Geographers to deliver lecture on Friday
Audrey Kobayashi, past president of the Association of American Geographers and professor and research chair in the department of geography at Queen's University in Canada, will deliver a public lecture titled "Race: An idea past its time in the discipline of geography?" at 3 p.m. Friday in Seaton Hall 132.
The presentation is sponsored by the department of geography and the Beta Psi chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon, the international geography honor society.
