Four finalists to be interviewed for director of the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning
Four finalists have been identified for the position of director for the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning.
The finalists are: Jana Fallin, professor, School of Music, Theatre, and Dance at Kansas State University; Shiladitya "S. Raj" Chaudhury, associate director of the Biggio Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning at Auburn University, Auburn, Ala.; Joshua Eyler, associate director of the Center for Teaching and Faculty Excellence at George Mason University, Fairfax, Va.; and Christiane "Christy" Price, director of the Center for Academic Excellence at Dalton State College, Dalton, Ga.
The schedule of candidates will be:
- Fallin: Feb. 26, with a public seminar from 2-3 p.m. in Hale Library's Hemisphere Room.
- Chaudhury: Feb. 27–March 1, with a public seminar from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Feb. 28 in Hale Library's Hemisphere Room.
- Eyler: March 6–8, with a public seminar from 1:15-2:15 p.m. March 7 in Town Hall at the Leadership Studies Building.
- Price: March 7-9, with a public seminar from 3-4 p.m. March 8 in Town Hall at the Leadership Studies Building.
For those unable to attend in person, the presentations will be taped and archived for viewing later.
