Join a national conversation on racial healing
As a follow up to the message from President Richard Myers and Provost Charles Taber on Jan. 7, the Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation Working Group and Diversity and Multicultural Student Affairs invite you to join a national conversation on racial healing. The event will take place on the National Day of Racial Healing, observed annually on the Tuesday following Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, this year being Jan. 19 at 2 p.m. CST.
The National Day of Racial Healing is a time for contemplation and collective action on #HowWeHeal from the effects of racism. Launched on Jan. 17, 2017, it is an opportunity to bring all people together in their common humanity and inspire action to create a more just and equitable world.
