International Coordinating Council announces 2021 spring semester events
The International Coordinating Council, a registered departmental student organization, announces its 2021 spring semester events.
Registration has opened early this year since all the events will be organized virtually and to allow enough time to make your slides/videos ready.
The following is a list of 2021 spring semester International Coordinating Council events:
• International Singing Night — Join us for a singing night for students from different countries from 6-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, via Zoom. The registration link will be sent out later. If you are interested in singing your traditional songs, please let us know by Feb. 5.
• International Fashion Show — Students and community members will showcase via Zoom their traditional clothes from respective countries from 6-7 p.m. Saturday, March 6. Please submit your slides/videos through the Google form. The deadline to submit the registration form is March 1.
• International Cultural Exhibition — Students from different cultures will show and explain artifacts from their home countries during a cultural exhibition from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, via Zoom. Please submit your slides/videos through the Google form. The deadline to submit the registration form is March 19.
• ICC Got Talent — Join us on a Zoom event where different international students will share their rich culture through their talents from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, April 8. Please submit your video through the Google form. The deadline to submit the registration form is April 2.
If you want to represent your hometown culture, you must complete the Google forms to register yourself and your organization/your country for each event separately. For those of you who want to only attend without presenting anything, we will send out a registration form before each event separately, so you do not need to register now if you do not want to represent. We look forward to seeing your creative submissions!
