Live Ideas to host first spring institute of 2021
Calling all writers and creators! The Primary Texts Program and Live Ideas Undergraduate Journal will host its first spring institute of 2021, which will take place the evenings of Feb. 24-26 and March 1.
If your application is accepted and you attend the full duration of each session from 7-8:30 p.m. each night, you will receive a $250 scholarship in recognition of your participation. Sessions are mainly peer-to-peer discussion of ongoing ideas and projects with an aim to publishing them in Live Ideas Undergraduate Journal.
"The Live Ideas institutes are dedicated to cultivating creativity, intellectual growth, and a community of scholars," said Suan Sonna, Live Ideas editor. "These institutes will help students develop and perfect their own original works, such as a poem, short story, essay, song, and more! The workshops will be lively, constructive and collegial!"
Applications can be submitted on the website. Please email Laurie Johnson at lauriej@k-state.edu with any questions.
