Students receive Live Ideas Spring Institute and Swogger/McNair Scholarships
Congratulations to the recent recipients of scholarships through Live Ideas Undergraduate Journal and the primary texts certificate program!
Live Ideas hosted the 2021 Spring Institute Feb. 24-26, from which several students received a $250 scholarship for their participation. The Live Ideas institutes are dedicated to cultivating creativity, intellectual growth and a community of scholars. The institutes help students develop and perfect their own original works, such as a poem, short story, essay, song and more. Sessions are mainly peer-to-peer discussion of ongoing ideas and projects with an aim to publish them in the Live Ideas Undergraduate Journal. Congratulations to the following students who earned a scholarship through the institute:

Additionally, the primary texts program at K-State is now working with the McNair Scholars Program to bring primary texts program opportunities to more students. Congratulations to the most recent Swogger/McNair Scholarship recipients, who each received $1,000:
