Students for Environmental Action to conduct energy audit training
On Saturday, March 13, Students for Environmental Action, a registered independent student organization, will conduct an energy audit training and evaluation.
Training will begin at 8 a.m. at Unger Complex on the third floor in the K-State Research and Extension office. After the hour/hour-and-a-half training, we will move to the Eisenhower Hall building on the K-State campus to conduct the audit. Small groups will work to document where hot air leaks are present, lights are left on, heating/cooling systems are running inefficiently and more. This is a great educational experience for students of all majors to gain the technical skills necessary to promote sustainable practices.
Those interested in participating should fill out the Google form so we know a number to expect, and participants should bring a notebook or computer for documentation. All other necessary equipment will be provided.
Please send any questions to Emma Pettay at epettay@k-state.edu.
