K-State Libraries faculty and staff have been busy with recent publications and presentations. Here is a roundup from the past month.
Tara Coleman, assistant professor and Web services librarian; Harish K. Maringanti, systems analyst; and Joelle Pitts, assistant professor and instructional design librarian, presented "Hoarders, library website edition: a data-driven website redesign in 120 days" at edUi 2011 in Richmond, Va.
Cindy Logan, assistant professor in undergraduate and community services, along with Judy Klimek, associate professor of anatomy and physiology, presented "Designing a Course to Teach Information Literacy to Veterinary Students: Inspire Them and They Will Come" at the
Lilly Conference on College and University Teaching and Learning in Traverse City, Mich.
Daniel Ireton, assistant professor in undergraduate and community services, presented "Necessary Sacrilege: Weeding Collections among People of the Book" at the ninth International Conference on the Book in Toronto, Canada.
Donna F. Ekart, communications coordinator, published "Customizing Your Library’s Facebook Page" in Computers in Libraries v. 31 n. 7.
