Goins publishes interview with legendary trumpeter/bandleader Scotty Barnhart
Wayne Goins, university distinguished professor of music, conducted an exclusive interview with jazz trumpeter Scotty Barnhart, bandleader in the world-renowned Count Basie Orchestra. The interview is featured in Jazz Guitar Today, the premier online journal for jazz guitar enthusiasts all around the world.
Goins, contributing writer to the magazine, has published a wide variety of pieces, including exclusive jazz artist profiles, CD reviews and articles specifically focused on jazz education. In addition to his role as university professor and active performing and recording jazz guitarist, Goins writes regularly for numerous magazines, including Jazz Guitar Today, Living Blues, Positive Feedback, Jazz Ambassador and Colorado Blues Society.
