Philosophy department offers upcoming LSAT logic workshops
Submitted by Cadence Ciesielski
The philosophy department is offering our program a three-day free workshop series to practice formal logic and apply it to LSAT questions. The series will take place from 4:30-6 p.m. Mondays, March 22, 29 and April 5 via Zoom.
This is an opportunity to practice your logic skills for anyone planning to take the LSAT. Take the opportunity to practice your logic skills with philosophy professors Bruce Glymour, Shay Logan and Reuben Stern.
The sessions include:
- Monday, March 22 — Elementary logic and basic argument forms with Glymour: A great place to start if you have not had much exposure to logic classes.
- Monday, March 29 — Logical Reasoning: Logan will discuss solution strategies for the Logical Reasoning section of the LSAT.
- Monday, April 5 — Causal Reasoning: Stern will discuss some elements of causal and statistical reasoning commonly relevant to LSAT questions.
Build up the skills and strategy needed to better tackle LSAT problems and learn more about the types of problems you will encounter on the LSAT.
