Developing Scholars Program student presents at University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Kathy Barron, student of women and American ethnic studies, presented "The Mexican 'Cabaretera' vs the Hollywood Showgirl in the Melodrama/Film Noir Genre: A Comparative Analysis Between Ninón Sevilla and Rita Hayworth" at the 2013 No Limits: Women's and Gender Studies Conference March 1-2 at the University of Nebraske-Lincoln.

Barron and María-Teresa DePaoli, associate professor in the department of modern languages, are conducting a 2012-2013 Developing Scholars Program project.
