Digital experiments with light as an art media presented at next Art and Math Seminar

From noon-1 p.m. CDT on Thursday, April 22, the Art and Math Seminar will feature a virtual talk presented by André Rangel, a researcher at the Research Center for Science and Technology of the Arts. Rangel also is assistant professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, the art director and founder of 3kta project and the co-founder of the xCoAx conference on Computation, Communication, Aesthetics and X. Projects of the artist combine intermedia, computer coding and light installations.
The title of Rangel's presentation is "Objectile and Utopia – Artistic Expression combining Geometry and Arithmetics."
Registration is required to participate in this seminar.
