COVID-19 vaccine incentives available

Submitted by Shawn Funk

Get your vaccine

The Parents and Family Program has donated funds to Lafene Health Center to incentivize and reward Kansas State University students who got their COVID-19 vaccines. Students can be entered into a drawing for a chance to win prizes.

Prizes include a MacBook Air, an iPad Air, Garmin watches, Apple AirPods, JBL portable speakers, gift cards to JP's Sports Grill and Union Station by JP's, and 30-minute massages at Lafene Health Center.

If you received your vaccine through a clinic offered by Lafene Health Center, your name is already included in the drawing.

If you received your vaccine from another source, your name can be included in the drawing by uploading a photo or scan of your immunization card to your myLafene+ patient portal by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, April 30. If you need assistance with uploading your immunization card, call Lafene Health Center at 785-532-6544. The drawings will be held on Tuesday, May 4.

There is still time to get your vaccine and be included in the drawing. Lafene Health Center will only be conducting booster COVID-19 vaccine clinics for the remainder of the spring semester. Check with your local pharmacy, doctor's office or county health department, get your vaccine and upload your immunization card before the April 30 deadline.
