Reminder: Student organization registration open for 2021-2022
Submitted by Center for Student Involvement
As the semester draws to a close, the Center for Student Involvement is ramping up the 2021-2022 Student Organization Registration process. There are a few changes to this year's process, so please see below for the requirements needed to be complete to receive "active" status for the upcoming year.
Annual registration requirements 2021-2022:
- Download the existing constitution from your OrgCentral Portal and update as needed.
- Complete the online registration form in OrgCentral.
- Attend a Student Org Basics training hosted via Zoom.
Additionally, DSOs will need to have their advisor and sponsoring unit head complete the Advisor Acknowledgement Form and College/Department/Unit Sponsorship Form respectfully.
The center's website provides direct links to the various forms, PDF step-by-step guides, and steps for those wishing to start a brand new organization. Organizations can track their progress in completing the various steps via the Registration Progress Report.
May 28 will be the priority deadline for organizations to complete the registration process. Organizations that complete the requirements prior to this deadline will be eligible for some small incentives including priority access for Activities Carnival and having a spotlight of the organization on the center's digital displays. Organizations unable to meet the priority deadline will continue to be able to register when they are able throughout the summer and next academic year.
Questions about the student organization registration process can be directed to the Center for Student Involvement at studentinvolvement@k-state.edu or 785-532-6541.
