K-State Marching Band to host scholarship golf tournament on July 10
On Saturday, July 10, the Kansas State University Marching Band will host the 10th annual Marching Pride Scholars Golf Tournament. All proceeds from this event will go toward scholarships for upperclassmen in the K-State Marching Band and Classy Cats.
This four-person golf scramble will be played at Colbert Hills. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Lunch is provided with golfer registration as well as course contests — closest to the pin, longest drive. There will be also a silent auction with all proceeds going toward scholarships. No matter how much practice you have, it will be a good time for a great cause.
More information about sponsorship, team registration and more can be found on the K-State Bands website, or you can call the band office at 785-532-3816 if you have any questions.
