Goins publishes interview with Twin Cities jazz guitarist
Wayne Goins, university distinguished professor of music, conducted an exclusive interview with jazz guitarist Kelly Blau, an upcoming musician. Goins and the young musician performed together at a recent invitation-only outdoors concert in the Minneapolis suburb of Hopkins, where a wine party was thrown in his honor. The interview was featured in the August issue of Jazz Guitar Today, the premier online journal for jazz guitar enthusiasts all around the world.
Goins, who was recently appointed as a contributing writer to the magazine, regularly publishes a wide variety of pieces, including exclusive jazz artist profiles, CD reviews and articles specifically focused on jazz education.
