Military tuition assistance request deadline Aug. 19
Students planning on utilizing military tuition assistance for the fall 2021 semester are encouraged to contact Dominic Barnes, the K-State Military Student Services coordinator. Federal military tuition assistance needs to be formally requested no later than Thursday, Aug. 19. This deadline is before the first day of classes on Aug. 23.
Navy and Air Force tuition assistance processes are initiated through local education offices on your military installations. National Guard tuition assistance is coordinated with the Kansas National Guard Education Services Office and online through the Kansas Board of Regents website.
All tuition assistance vouchers are received and processed by the Cashiers and Student Accounts office at sponsorship@k-state.edu.
Army tuition assistance is requested through ArmyIgnitED.com, a new website that requires soldiers to create an account and complete a degree pathway. Student soldiers then enroll in classes through KSIS. Once enrolled, they need to contact Barnes at MilitaryTA@k-state.edu so the courses can be added to the ArmyIgnitED website for tuition assistance requests.
