Powercat Financial Counseling director recognized at Greater Manhattan Community Foundation annual trustees meeting
The trustees of the Greater Manhattan Foundation recognized Jodi Kaus, director of K-State's Powercat Financial Counseling, as their 2013 Volunteer of the Year at the foundation's annual trustees meeting March 13.
Kaus joined the foundation's executive board in 2010. She has served on the marketing and asset development committee since 2009, serving as chair since 2010 and co-chaired the foundation's trustees fund grants committee in 2012 and 2013. She currently serves on the GROW TO steering committee and the public health advisory committee.
The mission of the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation is to enhance the quality of life in the Greater Manhattan area both today and in the future by helping connect donors with their charitable passions. The foundation has reached assets under management of nearly $37 million.
