Parker Conant named to national hockey All-American First Team
The National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association has announced its All-American teams. Kansas State University's Parker Conant, senior in mass communications, was named for defense to the All-American first team.
Parker is the captain of K-State's Inline Hockey Club and has been intrumental in leading the club throughout the year. He is a dedicated player and worked hard to bring out the best in all his teammates. He led the Great Plains Region in points and assists. He is also second nationwide in assists. Parker was a second team All-American last year.
The Inline Hockey Club is preparing for the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association National Invitational Tournament on April 10-14 in Fort Meyers, Fla. It's the second year in a row the team has made the tournament. In 2012 the team made it to the semifinals before being eliminated. The team hopes to do better this year, but knows it's very competitive with the top teams in the country seeking a national championship. Go 'Cats!
