Geography colloquium Oct. 8 explores change, inclusion and community in discipline of geography
The K-State geography and geospatial sciences department continues a long tradition of hosting the immediate past president of the American Association of Geographers for a fall semester colloquium.
David H. Kaplan, professor of geography at Kent State University, will present "Recognizing Change, Promoting Inclusion, and Fostering Community in Geography" at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, in the Ekdahl Room of Regnier Hall.
Kaplan's talk is part of the geography and geospatial sciences department's visiting scholar series and is sponsored by the Beta Psi Chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon, the international geographic honor society and the geography and geospatial sciences department.
