Ohio State geography professor to discuss interdisciplinary research on narco-deforestation in Latin America
The K-State geography and geospatial sciences department will welcome Kendra McSweeney, professor of geography at Ohio State University, for a fall semester colloquium. She will present "Sustaining Interdisciplinary: Lessons from a Decade of 'NarcoDeforestation' Research" at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, in Town Hall at the Leadership Studies Building.
McSweeney's talk is part of the geography and geospatial sciences department's visiting scholar series and is sponsored by the Beta Psi Chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon, the international geographic honor society and the geography and geospatial sciences department.
