Faculty member in Applied Human Sciences awarded Best Paper in 2021
Anthony J. Ferraro, assistant professor in applied human sciences, along with his colleagues Raymond Petren and Michael Anthony, Pennsylvania State University, Scranton; McKenzie L. Zimmermann, Kansas State University Research and Extension; and Kay Pasley, Florida State University emerita, were awarded the best research article on men in families for 2021, presented by the Men in Families Focus Group of the National Council on Family Relations.
A committee of scholars is selected annually to review top peer-reviewed scholarly journals relevant to the study of men in families. The committee puts forth nominations to the chairs of the Men in Families Focus Group who select a winner from eligible articles on the basis of innovation and ability to advance the field.
The article awarded, "A cross-lagged panel model of coparental interaction and father involvement shortly after divorce," was published in Family Relations in the July 2021 issue. The article can be accessed here.
