College of Agriculture/KSRE Diversity Programs Office and MANRRS Week
Happy MANRRS Week! The K-State Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences, or MANRRS, chapter and College of Agriculture/K-State Research and Extension Diversity Programs Office invite you to participate in the many events they will be hosting and partnering in throughout the week of Nov. 15-19.
The following is the schedule of events.
All week:
- Soles4Souls Shoe Drive and Cats' Cupboard Food Drive, drop off: 139 Waters Hall, Multicultural Student Center and entomology department. In partnership with Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Inc. and the Popenoe Entomology Club.
Tuesday, Nov. 16:
- "Growing our Mindset" Diversity Forum and Conversation, 5:30 p.m., Town Hall, Leadership Studies Building, or Zoom ID: 972 0061 3215. In partnership with K-State MANRRS, College of Ag Ambassadors and Ag Student Council.
Wednesday, Nov. 17:
- White Elementary School Virtual College for a Day, 1:45 p.m.
- Friendsgiving, 6 p.m., for K-State MANRRS members.
Thursday, Nov. 18:
- George Washington Carver Innovation Leadership and Awards Virtual Symposium, 11:30 a.m., register online.
- IHOP Dining for Dollars fundraiser, 4-10 p.m., 101 Good Food Place, Manhattan.
Friday, Nov. 19:
- MANRRS Social Media Awareness Day, all day, online.
