Students in the natural resources and environmental sciences, or NRES, secondary major capstone course will discuss findings from their semester-long interdisciplinary research projects from 9:40-11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17, in 1066 Rathbone Hall. Undergraduate researchers this semester come from seven different majors in the colleges of Agriculture; Architecture, Planning & Design; Arts and Sciences; Business Administration; Engineering; and Health and Human Sciences.

Two projects will be presented in both seminar and poster formats: "Understanding Cyanobacteria in Marion County" and "Unveiling Intrinsic and Extrinsic Stakeholder Values about Native Flora Plots." Student work has been supervised this semester by faculty advisor Trisha Moore, biological and agricultural engineering, and NRES Graduate Fellow Sarah Jackson, horticulture and natural resources.

The presentations are open to the public. Undergraduate students interested in natural resources, environmental science, and sustainability issues are especially encouraged to attend. The NRES secondary major is open to all Kansas State University students and is supported by the College of Agriculture, College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering, and Department of Geography.
