Goins publishes interview with Michigan State jazz guitarist
Wayne Goins, university distinguished professor of music, conducted an exclusive interview with internationally known artist jazz guitarist Randy Napoleon.
In the interview, Goins focuses on the idea that he and Napoleon share unique similarities as performing and recording artists who have become university professors dedicated to sharing their knowledge and skills with future generations of students in an academic setting.
The interview was featured in the December 2021 issue of Jazz Guitar Today, the premier online journal for jazz guitar enthusiasts all around the world. Goins, a contributing writer to the magazine, regularly publishes a wide variety of pieces, including exclusive jazz artist profiles, CD reviews and articles specifically focused on jazz education.
