Brent Holliday appointed acting director of Education Abroad
Brent Holliday, assistant director for education abroad, has been appointed to serve as acting director of Education Abroad by Associate Provost for International Programs Grant Chapman, effective Monday, Jan. 10.
Joining K-State in 2014, Holliday started his career as an education abroad advisor and was promoted to assistant director in 2017. Before coming to K-State, he worked in education abroad at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln and Nebraska Wesleyan University. He has a master’s degree from the University of Nebraska and has worked and lived in Japan.
“I am delighted to have Brent serve as acting director as we transition to new leadership in education abroad,” said Chapman.
Joe Millston, director of education abroad, leaves Kansas State University on Jan. 7 to become director of study abroad and faculty enrichment at Western Michigan University. A national search will be conducted in the spring semester to fill the education abroad director position.
