Pollution Prevention Institute intern program now accepting applications
The Kansas State University Pollution Prevention Institute is seeking internship applications from students majoring in engineering, environmental science or other relevant physical sciences for 2022 summer internships. Applicants must be junior level or higher.
Interns will be paired with Kansas companies, communities or institutions to research and develop projects that will prevent pollution by reducing usage of energy, water and toxic chemicals while producing recommendations to help the environment, save money and improve workplaces. Some projects will focus on food waste and solid waste prevention or recycling.
The online application for this internship program is available at sbeap.org/p2/intern-program. Deadline for submittal is Jan. 31 at the close of business.
Interviews will be in early March. For questions or further information, contact Lynelle Ladd at lladd@k-state.edu or 800-578-8898.
