Lindshield and Moorberg to present Teaching and Learning Center Professional Development Series event today
Submitted by Teaching and Learning Center
As part of the Teaching and Learning Center's Professional development series, Brian Lindshield, professor of food, nutrition, dietetics and health, and Colby Moorberg, associate professor of agronomy, will present "Rome Wasn’t Built in a Day, Our Open Educational Resources (OERs) & Pedagogy Weren't Either" from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, via Zoom.
The longtime OER creators will take you back to how they got started and the approach and reasons why they developed their resources to what they are today. They will also share the development process they used with a focus on how the resources and pedagogy have evolved over time. The hope is sharing will help others at various points along the continuum of creating/adapting/adopting OER and/or their pedagogy. The session will include two short presentations with time for questions, answers and interaction.
The events in the Professional Development Series are free and no registration is required. We hope to see you there!
