K-State Open Access Publishing Fund 2022 funding cycle now open
The K-State Open Access Publishing Fund provides 15 grants worth $1,500 each to authors with eligible applications. Awards are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Three of the 15 awards will be reserved for eligible open access articles in the arts and humanities in an effort to address gaps in disciplines historically supported by the fund.
The application for these awards now features a space for you to include a state account number, which will be used to transfer your award.
The fund is supported by funds from K-State Libraries, university strategic investment funding and the non-renewal of the Biomed Central Supporter Membership. K-State Libraries is committed to supporting open access publishing and a more equitable scholarly ecosystem.
You can apply for K-State Open Access Publishing Fund grants online. If you have any questions about the fund, please contact cads@k-state.edu.
