Vacation leave accrual information

Submitted by Human Capital Services

Twelve-month employees who earn eight hours of vacation leave per pay period will not accrue vacation leave during the following pay periods:

  • Pay period ending April 16 — paid April 29.
  • Pay period ending May 28 — paid June 10.
  • Pay period ending June 11 — paid June 24.

New employees who started after June 13, 2021, and any part-time employees who have not accrued their full 176 hours of vacation leave will continue to accrue vacation leave for pay periods ending May 28 and June 11 since those are the last two pay periods of the fiscal year. There will be no accruals with the third paycheck dated April 29, the pay period ending April 16.
