University Support Staff Employee Recognition Ceremony May 2
Submitted by Monica Macfarlane
The University Support Staff Senate is bringing back the University Support Staff Employee Recognition Ceremony after a two-year pause because of the pandemic. Be sure to mark your calendars. The ceremony will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 2, in the K-State Student Union Ballroom.
All USS employee supervisors, unit heads and campus administration are encouraged to attend and show their appreciation for the great work of our university support staff. All honorees are welcome to bring guests to the ceremony.
The keynote speaker will be President Richard Linton. Award recognitions include retirees; those with 5, 15, 25, 35, 45 years of service; recipients of Meritorious Service Awards; the K-State University Support Staff Award of Excellence; and the University Support Staff Belonging award.
Refreshments will be served and USS employees will have the opportunity to win door prizes such as one of 25 “Free Day Off” certificates provided by President Linton and Vice Presidents Jay Stephens and Ethan Erickson. We are looking forward to celebrating the vital and exceptional service provided by our University Support Staff.
