History department sponsors talk about buffalo soldiers by K-State alumnus
On April 27, Kansas State University alumnus John Langellier will present a talk about his most recent book, "Scouting With the Buffalo Soldiers," published by the University of North Texas Press.
Langellier received his bachelor's and master's degrees in history and historical archeology from the University of San Diego and his doctorate in history from K-State. His career in public history and museums spans a half-century and includes dozens of books and scores of articles, as well as consulting for motion pictures and television. Currently, Langellier serves as the principal investigator for the National Parks Service and is conducting a major project related to buffalo soldiers and the national parks.
