Kansas State LGBTQ+ Leadership Conference April 22
The Kansas State LGBTQ+ Leadership Conference will take place Friday, April 22, at the Morris Family Multicultural Student Center. Individuals who will be attending any portion of the conference should register. Schedule information and registration are available at the LGBTQ+ Leadership Conference website.
The daylong conference serves as a campus and community educational opportunity and a chance to bring together LGBTQ+-focused organizations and individuals from across the state. The goal of the conference is to encourage and enhance LGBTQ+ leadership and to cultivate networks of support in Kansas communities, education and organizations in Kansas.
Focusing on the lived experiences and inspirations of our Kansas LGBTQ+ community — students, faculty and staff of Kansas K-12 and higher education; community activists and community members; and our LGBTQ+ allies — the event features keynote speaker Tori Gleason, educational sessions and a queer art show throughout the day.
