Maseberg-Tomlinson receives 2022 Exceptional Achievement Award for Global Campus Staff
Jo Maseberg-Tomlinson, interim co-director of program development and management at Kansas State University Global Campus, has been selected as the recipient of the 2022 Exceptional Achievement Award for Global Campus Staff.
This award recognizes the accomplishments of a Global Campus staff member or team who elevates services to stakeholders, improves processes or provides other benefits that advance Global Campus and the university.
In the materials submitted for her nomination, it was noted that, "Jo is an advocate for all stakeholders associated with Global Campus and online programs. She has developed a process to track capacities in online classes and seeks additional seats from faculty and department heads to accommodate the needs of online learners when courses are full. This service is something that was severely lacking in the past and has directly aided in students' ability to persist and keep on track to graduation."
"Jo is a fantastic example of a staff member who goes above and beyond to identify gaps and seek solutions to fill them," said Karen Pedersen, dean of K-State Global Campus. "I am pleased to honor her for her hard work."
