Scott Finkeldei receives 2022 K-State Global Campus Program Advancement and Support Award
Scott Finkeldei, director for academic and student technology in the Division of Information Technology, has been selected as the recipient of the 2022 K-State Global Campus Program Advancement and Support Award.
In the materials submitted for Finkeldei's nomination, it was noted, “Scott has been invaluable in assisting with not only our work with our credit Canvas courses but also our noncredit work with CanvasPro. He now has taken a strong role in providing key insights for the new university-wide micro-credentialing system. Scott provides valuable information as part of any team he serves on, including providing input into how system changes may affect operations.”
This award is given to an individual who has significantly contributed to the support or advancement of K-State Global Campus programs, initiatives, services or learners.
“Global Campus is supported by a pool of talented individuals all across campus, without whom we couldn’t provide support and learning for students across the United States and around the world,” said Karen Pedersen, dean of K-State Global Campus. “We are pleased to honor Scott Findeldei for his knowledge and expertise in student technology systems.”
