Submitted by Stephanie J Bannister
The Kansas State University community is invited to a retirement reception honoring Kathleen Greene for her 41 years of service to the students of K-State. Please save the date for 3:30-5:30 p.m. June 17 at the Morris Family Multicultural Center, second floor. Remarks will begin at 4 p.m. The reception will be hosted by the Black Faculty Staff Alliance and Office of Student Success. Refreshments will be served.
Greene is the director of Academic Student Services where her responsibilities include directing three of K-State’s TRIO Programs: Educational Supportive Services, the McNair Scholars Program and the Student Support Services at K-State Salina. Over the years Greene also served as an advisor in the College of Education and an athletic counselor. Her commitment to supporting the academic success of our students will be greatly missed.
Contributions honoring Greene’s legacy and years of service can be made to the Greene TRIO Excellence Fund to support the programs she established and championed.
