College of Engineering administrators honored by national organization
The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers has honored two College of Engineering administrators for contributions to society and engineering.
Byron W. Jones, associate dean for research and graduate programs, received the Louise and Bill Holladay Distinguished Fellow Award. The award is given to an American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers fellow for continuous preeminence in engineering or research work.
Richard B. Hayter, associate dean emeritus for external affairs, received the Andrew T. Boggs Service Award. The award recognizes past recipients of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers Distinguished Service Award for continuing unselfish, dedicated and distinguished service to the society.
