Internal search for interim dean of the College of Arts and Sciences

The Office of the Provost announces an expedited internal search for the interim dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. The search is limited to current employees of Kansas State University.
The interim dean of the College of Arts and Sciences will serve as the chief academic and administrative officer of the college. The interim dean will have full authority of the deanship and responsibility for providing strategic vision and direction and academic, research, outreach and fiscal leadership for the college.

The search committee invites letters of nomination or applications to be submitted as soon as possible. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. Thursday, June 2, with campus interviews anticipated to take place between June 8-10.
It is expected that the successful candidate will begin the position in mid-June 2022. Application for the position of or appointment as interim dean will not preclude an individual from consideration for the permanent position. A national search will begin later for permanent leadership with more details to follow.
